Overview
Recdr is a Mac speech-to-text app designed to process speech locally on your device after setup. We do not operate a cloud transcription service for your recordings.
Data We Do Not Collect
- We do not collect your audio recordings.
- We do not collect your transcripts.
- We do not sell personal data.
- We do not use third-party advertising or tracking SDKs.
Local Data
Recdr may store temporary audio files, decoded transcripts, downloaded speech models, app settings, and recent transcript history on your Mac to provide the app's core functionality. Raw audio is intended to be cleaned up automatically after a short retention window.
App Store Purchases
Recdr uses Apple's App Store and StoreKit systems for subscriptions, free trials, purchases, and restores. Apple processes App Store payment information under Apple's own terms and privacy policy.
